The Black Ranger in Power Rangers Dino Charge is Chase Randall, a laid-back and adventurous young man from New Zealand. He is the first to bond with the Black Dino Charger and morph into the Black Ranger.

Chase's Zord is the Parasaurolophus Dino Zord, reflecting his adaptable and resourceful nature. His first appearance as the Black Ranger is in the first episode of the series, "Powers From The Past".

In the Super Sentai series, Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, the equivalent character is Ian Yorkland, who morphs into Kyoryu Black.
